Yes. FieldBonnet connects to your home WiFi to send soil moisture readings and email notifications. It works on standard 2.4 GHz networks, which most routers support.
FieldBonnet has a WiFi range of about 50 meters (roughly 165 feet) in open conditions. Walls and obstacles will reduce that, but it covers most homes and yards without any issues.
